Heyyyy heyyyy!!

My name is Chelsea Ahl. I am the owner and photographer at Chelsea Ahl Photography. Owning my own business has always been a dream of mine from a very young age. I found photography 11 years ago and the rest is, as they say, history. A little bit about me…I am 40 years old and married to my high school sweetheart, Lucas. We have two amazing babies together. Grace is 15 years old and Carter is 13 years old. These three people are my entire world. They complete me. In September 2019, I lost my mom, my best friend, to cancer. The past 12 years since my mom was diagnosed have had the highest of highs and the very lowest of lows, but I am convinced that happiness comes in waves. It will find me again. It always does! <3

I am a natural light and lifestyle photographer, but I am also a mama, wifey, daughter, auntie, fairy godmother, and bestie. A few of my favorite things are: Warby Parker glasses, Free People, cold brew, anything that involves chocolate or pumpkin, and all things pretty. I have an inappropriately loud laugh and a knack of saying what other people are thinking. My goal for every session or wedding is to always tell a family or couples story. Storytelling of not just the people in the photos, but all of those little moments in between. All the moments. The quiet ones, the loud ones, the happy ones and the sweet ones. Every single moment that makes you a family or couple. We can tell your story together. I am obsessed with that golden light at sunset. In the summer, I will beg you to put your babes down for late naps so you can meet me for our session after 7:30pm and we can soak up every last minute of that glorious golden light.
